Part of the 105-year-old Deccan Muslim Institute, this library has a collection of 40,000 books in several Indian and international languages. The ARS Inamdar Public Library is the central library of the Deccan Muslim Institute (DMI), situated in the Pune Camp area. DMI was established in October 1915 by Khan Bahadur Shaikh Abdul Qader Sarfaraz. Housed in this 105-year-old institute, the ARS Inamdar Public Library is an A-grade public library recognised by the Directorate of Libraries, Government of Maharashtra.
