Dr. Nitin Dalaya is a leading consulting psychiatrist in Pune, with a professional tenure spanning the last 20 years.

In 2002, he established the Nityanand Rehabilitation and Residential Mental Health Care center. This facility offers comprehensive bio-psycho-social rehabilitation services for individuals dealing with chronic mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, mood disorders, and various addictions such as substance abuse, gambling, opioid, and Ganja/Cannabis addiction. Starting with a capacity of 50 beds, the center has expanded significantly and now treats 250-300 individuals across two locations, with planned expansion to 500 beds. Beyond his private practice, Dr. Dalaya also founded the Nityanand Institute of Medical Sciences in Pachane and has worked with well-known Pune hospitals, including Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation, Ruby Hall Clinic, and Poona Hospital and Research Centre.
