Dr. Saumil Sheth

Dr. Saumil Sheth earned his master's degree in ophthalmology from Sion Hospital in Mumbai and his bachelor's degree in medicine from KEM Hospital. He then completed a Retina Fellowship at Hyderabad's esteemed L V Prasad Eye Institute. As a Fellow Retinal Surgeon at Sydney Eye Hospital in Australia, Dr. Saumil has over 10,000 years of experience doing laser procedures and retinal surgeries, with over 1,000 of those procedures being done overseas. Additionally, at Sydney Eye Hospital in Australia, Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital in Mumbai, and L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, he has taught and trained postgraduate ophthalmology students and retinal residents in retinal procedures. Academically, he has been recognized for placing first in both MBBS in Mumbai and Ophthalmology in India. 

Additionally, he has taught and trained postgraduate students of ophthalmology and retinal residents in retinal procedures at the Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital in Mumbai, the Sydney Eye Hospital in Australia, and the L V Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad. Regarding his academic achievements, he was awarded awards for placing first in both MBBS in Mumbai and Ophthalmology in India. He earned a travel scholarship to pursue an ICO Retina fellowship at Clinica Oculistica in Udine, Italy, and Jules Gonin Eye Institute in Switzerland after placing in the top six globally on the Ophthalmic Basic Sciences Exam in the UK.
