Government Institute of Chemical Engineering (GICE), Visakhapatnam was established in 1985. It is a governmental college affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh. The college provides diploma courses in the Engineering and Architecture stream. GICE Visakhapatnam courses cover the Diploma programmes in four domains namely, Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Diploma in Oil Technology, Diploma in Petrochemical Engineering and Diploma in Plastic and Polymer Engineering. The duration of the diploma courses is three and a half years.
