Mahindra International School

Mahindra International School (MIS), formerly the Mercedes-Benz International School (founded in 1998), is a well-established, non-profit school in Pune, India, catering to expatriate, repatriating, and globally-minded Indian families. The school is an independent entity, operating as a not-for-profit under the Public Charitable Trust Act, and underwent a name change in 2019 following the addition of five new Board Members from the KC Mahindra Educational Trust. MIS proudly serves a diverse student body of about 380 students from over 30 nationalities. It is the longest-standing 3-Programme International Baccalaureate (IB) School in India, with the IB framework fundamental to its ethos. The school maintains a commitment to continuous improvement, driven by a strategic plan and regular accreditation reviews by organizations like the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
