Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute

The Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) is currently closed until further notice due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic, a decision made to reduce potential risk to students in accordance with the Government of Maharashtra's directive.

The foundation stone for the institute was laid in 1973 by Yogacharya B. K. S. Iyengar and his wife, Ramamani. Tragically, Smt. Ramamani passed away before construction was completed. When the Institute officially opened in 1975, Guruji dedicated it to her memory.
