
With the debut of Amazon Now, a prototype 10-minute delivery service, spanning three Bengaluru pin codes, Amazon India has formally entered the fiercely competitive rapid commerce race.
Media sources state that the service is run through ten to fifteen dark businesses that are positioned thoughtfully throughout the city. In the upcoming weeks, the company intends to open more neighborhoods, indicating a stronger push into the ultra-fast delivery market.
Within 10 to 15 minutes, Amazon Now promises to bring groceries, veggies, snacks, drinks, personal care items, and even fresh meat. To entice early users, the service now waives late-night and surge fees and gives discounts.
