Bengalurus Simple Energy partners with Amazon and Flipkart for easy booking and delivery of EV Scooters

Bengaluru-based EV startup Simple Energy has teamed up with Amazon India and Flipkart, enabling customers to easily explore, book, and get doorstep delivery of its flagship electric scooters, the Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS. According to the start up, the move intends to streamline the purchasing process by offering a digital-first experience that makes it easy for clients to choose and reserve scooters online.

Customers can get exceptional discounts of Rs 16,434 off using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Card, Rs 8,750 off other bank credit cards, and Rs 14,500 off HDFC Bank credit cards through Amazon.

Customers can get a flat discount of Rs 7,500 on the Simple One and Rs 5,000 on the Simple OneS when they buy them through Flipkart.

The Simple One Gen 1.5 can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.77 seconds and has an IDC range of 248 km. App integration, navigation, OTA updates, numerous ride modes, TPMS, USB charging, regenerative braking, and 30 liters of underseat storage are among its features.

The scooter costs Rs 1,71,944 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and comes with a 750W charger. It comes in six different colors.

The Simple OneS offers an IDC range of 181 km, a top speed of 105 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.55 seconds. It features a 3.7 kWh battery, an 8.5 kW motor, four ride modes, a 7-inch touchscreen, 5G e-SIM, Bluetooth connectivity, and advanced safety systems. Available in four colors, it is priced at Rs 1,54,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
