BigBasket plans to introduce nationwide 10-minute meal delivery services by the end of fiscal year 2026.
The new offering from BigBasket, which was tested in Bengaluru last month, will reach 40 dark stores by the end of July. BigBasket's approach revolves around these dark establishments, which comprise small warehouses situated in crowded areas. They make it possible for two-wheeler riders to swiftly deliver carefully chosen food products. With no plans to partner with other restaurants, BigBasket's menu will only include Tata-affiliated brands, most notably Starbucks and Indian Hotels' gourmet cuisine division Qmin.
Integrating food delivery into the larger online grocery experience is the ultimate objective. Since its establishment in 2011, BigBasket has invested over ten years in development.
