Worlds highest railway arch bridge - Chenab Railway Bridge will be inaugurated on Friday

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially open the Chenab Railway Bridge, the tallest railway arch bridge in the world, which will be a significant milestone in India's infrastructure development. The bridge is a vital component of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, rising 359 meters over the Chenab River and taller than the Eiffel Tower.

Additionally, at Anji, the Prime Minister will open India's first cable-stayed railway bridge. After more than thirty years of engineering work, the Chenab and Anji bridges finally link the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the nation.
